Board of Pensions
The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (USA) administers the pension, healthcare benefits and financial assistance programs for its current and retired ministers, church workers, and their dependents.
The Board of Pensions needed a consistent look for the disparate publications describing the Board’s pensions, healthcare benefits and financial assistance programs.
Create a cohesive visual brand identity for all printed collateral, while also communicating the Board’s mission as a caring, supportive steward of its member benefits programs.
The SPI Group created a visual brand identity that allows the Board to project a cohesive brand image and message in all communications to its members.
The design team developed a “vine and buds” graphic design that suggests a supportive, organic structure. A new tagline, “Benefits through the stages of your life”, links all of the publications together and reinforces the message of trust and caring. The use of a color palette differentiates the various categories of benefits and stages of life. And a style guide codifies the new visual identity to ensure consistency in future materials.
Stakeholders throughout the organization enthusiastically adopted the new design. The new, cohesive look and feel was incorporated into more than 20 Board publications, as well as PowerPoint templates and graphics for the Board of Pensions website.
