Multilingual Comms Support Drives Adoption of New HR Portal

Challenge

Pfizer wanted design, development and change management support for the global launch of their new HR Information System and HR self-service platform. They reached out to SPI Group. ​

Actions

The team: ​

  • identified four key audiences– senior management, people managers, the global HR community, and the company’s 80,000 colleagues;​
  • used audience research to determine specific messaging and calls-to-action;​
  • developed a campaign called: “Wherever, Whenever, HR on Demand”​
  • produced materials in 13 languages for more than 75 country organizations.​

We managed the complexity of this rollout by:​

  • enlisting the global community of HR generalists as communication and activation points;​
  • distributing templates through a platform that allowed country points of contact to translate and update key information and to download materials ready for print or publishing; ​
  • developing presentations, posters, plasma screen displays, tent cards, videos, giveaways and other communications. 

Results

The campaign built broad awareness, acceptance and engagement.
